Most Nivada Grenchen watches measure 38 mm or less. This collection brings together our smaller sizes, 35, 37 and 38 mm, in steel or titanium cases with sapphire crystals, made in Grenchen.

      Three sizes

      • 35 mm: the Antarctic 35 mm is the smallest Nivada. The Antarctic Spider 35 mm is 10.1 mm thick, with an 18 mm strap and a hand-wound Landeron 21 movement with date.
      • 37 mm: the F77 37 mm on its integrated steel bracelet, 12.1 mm thick and 45 mm lug to lug, with a screw-down crown and an automatic movement.
      • 38 mm: most of the catalogue. The Super Antarctic and Antarctic run on the Soprod P024 automatic, the Antarctic Diver and Aquamar are dive watches water resistant to 200 m, and the Chronomaster, Autochron and Chronoking are our 38 mm chronographs.

      How to choose your size

The diameter is only part of the fit. Look at the lug-to-lug length, which should stay within the top of your wrist, and at the thickness, which decides how easily the watch slides under a cuff. Every product page has a size guide with the full dimensions.

      Small watches FAQ

Is 38 mm a small watch for a man?

38 mm is a mid-size watch. It sits well on most wrists, wears close to the wrist and fits under a shirt cuff. On a large wrist it reads as a discreet watch rather than a small one.

Do you make a 36 mm watch?

Our closest sizes are the Antarctic 35 mm and the F77 37 mm. The rest of this collection measures 38 mm.

      What matters besides the diameter?

The lug-to-lug length and the thickness. Choose a watch whose lug-to-lug length is shorter than the width of the top of your wrist. The Antarctic 38 mm and the F77 37 mm both measure 45 mm lug to lug, and the Antarctic 35 mm is 10.1 mm thick.

Is there a small dive watch?

Yes. The Antarctic Diver and the Aquamar measure 38 mm, are 12.9 mm thick and are water resistant to 200 m, with a ceramic bezel. See all our dive watches.

I prefer a larger watch, what do you have?

The Chronomaster and the F77 also exist in 41 mm. See our larger watches.
