The meteorite used for this dial originates from the Muonionalusta meteorite, discovered in northern Sweden. Classified as an iron octahedrite, it contains approximately 7.65% nickel and belongs to a rare category of metallic meteorites, representing only about 5.7% of all meteorites that reach Earth. Formed in space over millions of years and revealed through acid etching, its distinctive Widmanstätten pattern, composed of kamacite and taenite bands, is the natural signature of its extraterrestrial origin.
The F77 MKII Meteorite connects terrestrial watchmaking with extraterrestrial material. Each dial is cut from genuine meteorite, revealing natural crystalline patterns formed over millions of years.
