The F77 SST Onyx Dial MK2 is a 38 mm Swiss automatic watch with a natural black onyx dial. It captures the essence of the original 1977 F77, the integrated sport watch with an octagonal bezel that Nivada Grenchen launched in the golden age of steel sport watches, and reworks it in stainless steel for today.
Onyx has been used in jewellery for millennia. Its deep, uninterrupted black creates a mirror-like dial that contrasts with the silver Dauphine hands, the shiny silver applied indexes and the white Super-LumiNova dots. The MK2 case is 316L stainless steel with brushed and polished finishes, 12.2 mm thick instead of 12.65 mm on earlier models, and 46.2 mm lug to lug. The integrated bracelet has been redesigned for comfort, and drilled lugs let you swap to a strap in seconds.
The Swiss-made Soprod P024 automatic movement beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour on 25 jewels, with a 38-hour power reserve. The double-domed sapphire crystal has an anti-reflective coating, the crown screws down and the watch is water resistant to 10 ATM.
