F77 SST CHRONO MECAQUARTZ GREY MK2 - 38MM
$740.00

The F77 SST Chrono Mecaquartz Grey MK2 is a compact 38 mm sport chronograph with an anthracite woven dial. Like the other F77 Chrono Mecaquartz models, it is a new creation, not a re-edition: the F77 silhouette first appeared in 1977, and Nivada Grenchen's chronograph heritage goes back to 1926, but the F77 had never been made as a chronograph.

The cool grey dial (9C) with an embossed pattern gives a muted, monochrome take on the F77 design. The texture adds depth without shouting, while the twin subdials, shiny silver applied indexes, baton hands and white Super-LumiNova dots keep it easy to read. The F77 MK2 case is 316L stainless steel, 12.2 mm thick and 46.2 mm lug to lug, with a riveted bezel, ergonomic lugs, a screw-down crown and a solid steel caseback.

The VK64 meca-quartz movement keeps things precise and low-maintenance: quartz regulates the time and a mechanical module runs the chronograph, so the chronograph seconds hand sweeps rather than ticks and the pushers click cleanly. The battery lasts about three years and the watch is water resistant to 10 ATM. It comes on the integrated steel bracelet, a canvas velcro strap or a black rubber strap. The first F77 Chrono Mecaquartz a brand-new creation, not a re-edition. Rooted in Nivada Grenchen's chronograph heritage that stretches back to 1926, the F77 silhouette first debuted in 1977 and has earned an enduring place in the modern collection. Adding a chronograph felt both natural and inevitable and because the F77 never existed as a Mecaquartz before, this is genuinely new territory. The Grey Woven reference takes the F77 Chrono in a more understated direction. The anthracite embossed woven pattern, catalogue reference Cool Grey 9C, gives the dial depth and visual texture without drawing attention. Twin chronograph subdials, applied silver-tone indexes with SuperLuminova white dots, and clean baton hands ensure instant legibility under any light condition. The 38mm 316L stainless-steel case measures just 12.2mm thick, with a lug-to-lug span of 46.2mm, proportions that sit flat and comfortable on most wrist sizes. The recognizable riveted bezel and ergonomic downward-sloping lugs carry the original 1977 spirit forward. A solid screw-down caseback and double-domed sapphire crystal complete the package. At the heart of the watch is the Seiko VK64 mecaquartz movement, a hybrid caliber that uses quartz regulation for precision (±15 sec/year) while routing the chronograph through a fully mechanical module. The result: a smooth-sweeping central chronograph seconds hand, a crisp mechanical pusher feel, and approximately three years of battery life. No winding, no servicing the chrono module, no compromises. Available on an integrated 22mm stainless steel bracelet with push-button deployant buckle, a military-style canvas Velcro strap, or a black rubber sport strap. Water resistance: 10 ATM / 100m.

The First F77 Chrono Mecaquartz

The F77 has firmly earned its place in our modern collection, so evolving it into a chronograph felt both natural and true to our chronograph DNA. Because the F77 never existed as a Chrono Mecaquartz before, this is not a re-edition – it’s a brand-new creation. In this version, the iconic woven pattern is rendered in anthracite grey, giving the watch a more understated, go-anywhere look that still carries the full F77 identity.

Anthracite Texture, Everyday Attitude

The Grey Woven dial offers a more muted, monochrome take on the F77 language. The anthracite texture gives depth without shouting, while the twin subdials, applied indexes and baton hands ensure instant readability. The 38 mm integrated steel case, riveted bezel and ergonomic lugs make it a chronograph that sits low, balanced and comfortable on almost any wrist

Mecaquartz Made For Daily Wear

The VK64 mecaquartz movement keeps things precise and low-maintenance, with quartz regulating timekeeping and a mechanical module handling the chronograph. The central chronograph seconds hand sweeps smoothly rather than ticking, and the pushers give a clean, mechanical click. With approximately three years of battery life, it’s the kind of chronograph you can grab and go every day
