The Discovery at Cenic Watches

Every great story begins with a remarkable find. During a visit to Cenic Watches, a small workshop near Grenchen, Guillaume Laidet met Nicolas Huissoud, a passionate craftsman who restores forgotten timepieces. Hidden among drawers filled with old treasures, Guillaume discovered a rare piece of Nivada’s past, 18 original Antarctic Glacier dials, beautifully aged by time yet perfectly preserved, alongside 18 vintage ETA 2783 movements still capable of ticking with life.

VINTAGE DIAL

From this discovery was born a vision, to revive these authentic components in a truly limited creation, the Antarctic Glacier Vintage. Each of the 18 pieces unites an original vintage dial with its historical movement, visible through an open caseback. A time capsule of pure horological heritage, brought back to life through passion.
