The reissue that sparked the modern Antarctic revival, a true explorer’s watch with aged lume, black tropical-style dial, and 1950s charm re-engineered to modern Swiss standards

This Super Antarctic reissue actually started on Instagram, after one of our followers shared a vintage timepiece with us. We featured it in our stories and received so many messages that it quickly became clear bringing it back with the same original spirit and character was something we had to do. While staying true to the original design, the watch is built to modern standards, featuring a sapphire crystal and a Swiss automatic Soprod P024 movement. A screw-down crown ensures 10 ATM water resistance, making it as practical today as it was reliable back then. The Super Antarctic 3.6.9 is a faithful reedition of the vintage model, offered in two dial options: a matte black dial or a tropical-style dial, both finished with Swiss Super-LumiNova. To enhance the vintage feel, we’ve added an aging effect to the dial and hands. The case measures 38 mm in diameter, with a 45 mm lug-to-lug and a thickness of 12 mm, keeping the proportions balanced and wearable. Turning the watch over, you’ll also notice the legendary gold medallion on the caseback, a signature detail of the Super Antarctic.
