The Nivada Grenchen Antarctic 35mm brings the 1950s Antarctic back in a compact 35 mm case, faithful to the original design. The Antarctic line is linked to Operation Deep Freeze, the 1955-56 expedition to Antarctica. At 35 mm it suits slimmer wrists.
Every model is hand-wound on the Swiss Landeron 21, in a 316L stainless steel case water resistant to 5 ATM / 50 m.
Antarctic 35mm models
- Antarctic Eggshell Beige Luminova: Art Deco numerals at 12, 3, 6 and 9, applied arrowhead indexes, dauphine hands with a luminous strip, orange luminous arcs on the hour markers and a blued steel seconds hand. The case is polished and satin-brushed, 10.1 mm thick, under double-domed sapphire.
- Super Antarctic Black White Luminova: matte black dial with white Super-LumiNova, 41.9 mm lug to lug and 10.1 mm thick. The project started when a follower shared his vintage Super Antarctic on Instagram.
- Antarctic Eggshell White Luminova, Antarctic White Luminova and Antarctic Black White Luminova: eggshell white, white or matte black dials with luminous indexes, under domed sapphire crystal.
