The Antarctic White Luminova 35mm is a re-edition of Nivada Grenchen's 1950s Antarctic, the watch worn during the U.S. Navy's Operation Deep Freeze. It keeps the clean lines and compact size of the original, with a crisp white dial and luminous details for an understated, everyday elegance.
The white dial has Art Deco arrowhead indexes with Super-LumiNova accents for easy reading, a mix of vintage charm and modern clarity. The 316 stainless steel case is polished and satin-brushed, 35 mm in diameter and only 10.1 mm thick, under a domed sapphire crystal that keeps the proportions and feel of the original Antarctic line. The closed caseback carries the penguin engraving and the gold medallion.
Inside, the Swiss Landeron 21 hand-wound mechanical movement drives three hands without date and offers a 36-hour power reserve. Water resistance is 5 ATM (50 m) and the lug width is 18 mm.
