The Chronoking is distinguished by its unusual date located at 12 o’clock and two-grey debossed sub dials. The beautiful Super Luminova hour-marks are highlighted when the powerful red hands smoothly glide over them. The black aluminum bezel, with distinguishable large numerals, creates a bold personality to the watch. The 38 mm diameter stainless steel case with screw-down back is a testament to the watch robust and edgy design.

An Evolution of the Chronomaster

The Chronoking was originally released in the late 1960's as a not so subtle son to the Chronomaster Aviator Sea Diver following its success. Featuring the same 38mm case and function-packed dial-bezel combination, it sports an extra small date window at the 12 o’clock mark. The dial has also gone through a “modernization” relative to the CASD with the broad-arrow hands having been dropped for more “cutting-edge” hands featuring a flash of bright 70's red on the second hand.

Originally designed and manufactured in Grenchen, Switzerland we’ve kept true to our roots. Our Chronomaster is powered by the Swiss-made Sellita SW510 Chronograph with a choice of either the manual or automatic wind version. All of our watches are made in Switzerland in true Nivada Grenchen authenticity and quality standards.

Nivada Grenchen rose to fame in the 50's & 60's for their ruggedness by always pushing the limits of watch design. The Chronomaster is no exception to this rule - featuring a 10ATM water resistance & a curved sapphire crystal it is ready to face the usual wear & tear of everyday use.
