A Quartz Watch with a Mechanical Feel
This new version of the Nivada Autochronfeatures the famous Art Deco-style typography on the
sub-dials, here in sand or salmon tones, which illuminate the textured black dial and create depth
with a 3D effect.
It is powered by a VK67 Meca-Quartz movement with a three-year battery life. The chronograph hand sweeps smoothly across the dial, mimicking the motion of mechanical watches. The principle of a Meca-Quartz movement is to combine the precision of quartz with the beauty of traditional watchmaking, thanks to an automatic movement module. The quartz part provides the timekeeping, while the mechanical module ensures the proper operation of the chronograph (at 6 o’clock). This is why they are often called hybrid movements.
The Autochron Meca-Quartz models are available with multiple strap options, including leather, various styles of steel, and rubber.
