The Antarctic Erotic Brown is a 38mm Swiss hand-wound automatic watch with a warm brown matte dial, beige Super-LumiNova applied indexes, and a hidden animated caseback that activates only while winding. It is the most vintage-toned dial in the Antarctic Erotic collection, a brown dial with warm beige lume rooted in mid-century field and pilot watch aesthetics, on a 316L stainless steel case with alternating polished and brushed finishing.
The case measures 38mm across, 12.45mm thick, with a 45mm lug-to-lug distance. A double-domed sapphire crystal, screw-down crown, and 10 ATM water resistance complete a package built for daily wear without compromise.
The caseback is what sets it apart. Flip the watch and wind the crown: a modified Soprod P054 movement drives a cam system that translates the winding motion into a vertical mechanical animation, a private scene visible only to the wearer. No extra pushers, no mode-switching. The complication exists entirely in the act of winding, in the tradition of discreet automata and hidden erotic watches designed to be discovered, not displayed.
The penguin figure at the centre of the animation has been part of Nivada Grenchen's identity since 1965, officially patented as the emblem of the Antarctic collection; a line born from the U.S Navy polar expeditions in 1955–1956. The Antarctic Erotic reinterprets that heritage with irreverence and mechanical precision.
