The Nivada Grenchen Antarctic Diver continues a 1960s Swiss dive watch that was built as a working tool. It keeps the clean symmetry of vintage professional divers, with no date window, and it is designed for people who value simplicity and precision, in the water or out of it.

The current model grows to 38 mm, up from the 36.5 mm of the earlier version, a size that works on most wrists and still feels compact for everyday wear.

      The Antarctic Diver 38mm

The Antarctic Diver 38mm has a 316L stainless steel case, 12.9 mm thick, with a solid, reassuring heft. A rotating aluminium bezel lets you time an immersion, and Super-LumiNova on the hands and indexes keeps the dial readable in low light.

Inside is the Swiss Soprod P024 automatic movement. A screw-down crown and a double-domed sapphire crystal help seal the case to 20 ATM / 200 m water resistance. You can wear it on a leather strap or a steel bracelet.

The Antarctic Diver belongs to the wider Antarctic family. Compare it with the Super Antarctic or other Antarctic 38mm models.
