The F77 SST Black MK1 is a 37 mm Swiss automatic watch, the first-generation reissue of Nivada Grenchen's F77 from 1977. With its basket-weave dial, fully integrated steel bracelet and octagonal bezel, it has the typical look of 1970s sport watches. The vintage F77 is a rare piece today, almost impossible to find.
The black tressed dial with shiny silver applied indexes gives a bold yet minimalist look, with clean symmetry in the no-date version or a date window for daily practicality. The design plays with contrasting shapes: a round dial framed by an octagonal bezel. The 316L stainless steel case alternates satin-brushed and polished surfaces, measures 37 mm, 12.65 mm thick and 45 mm lug to lug, and sits under a double-domed sapphire crystal with a screw-down crown.
The Swiss-made Soprod P024 automatic movement beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour on 25 jewels, with a 38-hour power reserve. Water resistance is 10 ATM / 100 m. Choose the integrated steel bracelet with push-button deployant buckle or a canvas velcro strap. Compare it with the other first-generation models in F77 MK1, or the slimmer 38 mm F77 tressed dials.
